Long Overdue Update
WELCOME TO LISA BARR'S ROLFING PROCESS
A Unique Approach
If you have just landed on this page you are probably interested in Rolfing and feeling better in your body. Rolfing is a bodywork modality that has been compared to massage. However, it is a much more involved and more technical approach to correcting biomechanical imbalances than massage. Rolfing targets the fascial systems that keep you in old movement patterns. Movement patterns that could prevent you from finding new ways of moving.
Lisa Barr has been a body worker since 2004 and finished her Rolfing Certification in 2013. If you want to hear more about her story or what Rolfing can do for you please visit the blog posts below.
FULL ROLFING SESSION: 75-90 MINUTES
This is an ideal session time for most people. It gives us time to assess the client's biomechanical posture and gait, discuss goals, and get some good changes.
ROLFING HALF SESSION 45-60 MINUTES
This is an ideal session for existing clients who want a tune-up between sessions. It allows us to target the problem area and create a change.
CRANIOSACRAL SESSION 60 MINUTES
I have completed the first training in the Upledger craniosacral training course. This is a deeply relaxing therapy that requires a light touch and focuses on unwinding the nervous system.
